Ski Image X1000 Ski Mirror
For years now, there've been only two basic styles of rearview ski mirrors: the type that attach to the metal-framed windshields of runabouts, and the kind that attach to full span dashboards. But neither of these styles adapt to the majority of boats manufactured -- Ski Image® mirrors do! Ski Image's Model X1000 is designed to attach to the upper edge of any configuration of plastic windshield (or wind deflector) common to most bass boats, pontoon boats, deck boats, and some fishing and ski boats. The X1000 is reversible and may be attached to the operator's windshield or can turned around to attach to the passenger's windshield -- whichever affords the operator the best rear vision. Manufacturer model #: X1000.
Adapts to the majority of boats manufactured

Mirror not securely attached to housing. After looking at several others, this one is easier to use on my pontoon boat. Big problem though when the mirror came off the housing the first time I used it and went to the lake bottom! I liked the way it attaches but they need to secure the mirror better.

Not a good productI purchased a ski mirror on line as a Father's Day gift for my husband. The first time we used it, after installing it properly, it popped off of the boat when we hit a normal size wave and sunk to the bottom of the lake!
It also wasn't very clear to see the skier. I would return it for a refund if we had the mirror, but since it didn't float that is impossible.

works as advertisedThe mirror works as advertised. It was easy to install the main bracket to the boat and connect the mirror to the riser. It is quickly installed and removed from the bracket when on the boat. We have used the mirror for about a month now and even in rough water (for a lake) have had no problem with either the mirror moving or the riser loosening in the main bracket.

Don't waste your money!I just received this mirror, and did not even put it on my boat. The mirror attaches to the extension rod with an allen screw threaded into plastic. It is supposed to fit into a drilled hole, in the rod on the back of the mirror, but the holes do not line up. This makes the mirror impossible to tighten. It would fall off and break, BEFORE I get it to the lake. Don't waste your money. it deserves no stars, but that is not an option.
The glue that held the mirror melted and the mirror fell out and was lost with in a short period of time. Can I buy a replacement mirror without have to buy the whole frame?
