The Best PantsI am always on the hunt for better, lighter, space saving gear that can shave ounces out of my pack. This past summer I ordered several pairs of pants to give them a side by side comparison and see which one was the "best" for me. The Sitka mt pants were the ones that I kept and returned all the others. It would seem these pants were specifically designed for the DIY back-country elk hunter. 5 zippered pockets keep small items where you put them even if you end up crawling or spending time in awkward positions while waiting for a shot or glassing. I have had other pants drop items from pockets with no zippers before. The 2 snap close pockets are actually silent as advertised and roomy enough to hold larger items. I have worn these pants in temps ranging from mid 70's to sub 0 paired with the sitka core merino wool base layer when needed and stayed comfortable providing a very wide range of use in different weather conditions. The fit of these pants is great and the finish of the material is fairly quiet while moving. My size 36 weighs in at 1lb 13oz with knee pads removed. I was a bit skeptical of sitkas claim to turn clothing into gear but thats exactly what these pants are and I would highly recommended them.

Awesome pantsThese pants are awesome! They fit perfectly and stretch in all the right places. The pants say they wick away sweat and they definitely do. I've used other high end camo and this stuff is the best so far. I use it on Sept elk hunts and have never had a problem.

Great productI don't agree with everything Sitka put out especially all there light jackets with white insides. Having said that these pants are perfect can't think of a single thing that I would like to change on them. Well done Sitka

Best pant7 days on the mountains in Idaho these pants performed flawlessly
It has 3 different inseam options..... on the Sitka website it shows a regular and tall option, can you please let me know which option is regular/tall
