The Sig Sauer® M400 SRP Semi-Auto Rifle operates with a direct impingement gas operating system with rotating locking bolt. The M400 M400 SRP comes platform ready to mount optic or iron sights, consisting of a full receiver Picatinny rail and a M1913 railed front gas block. The Sig M400 SRP semi-automatic rifle comes with a 6-position collapsing stock and a full handguard. A Nitride® treated barrel with phosphate finish provides maximum durability and corrosion resistance; and a M16A2 type flash suppressor keeps muzzle flash to a minimum. A 7075-T6 aircraft grade aluminum forged lower receiver adds to the durability and reliability. The Sig Sauer M400 SRP Semi-Auto Rifle functions with both 5.56 x 45 mm NATO and .223 Rem. ammo, and is compatible with most M16-type magazines.
