Product came damagedI bought this a few weeks ago bought my reel came with scratches and damaged. The reel itself seems to work fine but the amount of money spent on it, I would assume it would come mint condition. Not happy at all.

Great ValueI needed a reel that was fun to catch 5-20 pound Blackfin tuna on but still had enough backbone to land 40-100 pound amberjacks on without taking all day. Very few reels have the ability to put 50 pounds of drag pressure on a fish. This reel is half the price of a Stella but still does a great job. Take a serious look at this serious reel.

A Precision Reel For The Serious Fisherman!The Shimano Twin Power SW Spinning Reel! Quite simply the best reel that has ever been put into my hands for the exception of the flagship of the Shimano reels, the Stella. I got the Twin Power TP8000SWBPG and I can tell you that this reel is a TANK! A well-built reel boasting a whopping 62 pounds of drag, there is no reason why you could not land a large triple digit tarpon or a decent size reef shark. I have my reel spooled up with 50 pound Powerpro braid and have this reel paired up with a St. Croix Tidemaster 7 ft. 6 in Heavy Power, Fast Tip spinning rod of which Bass Pro Shops carries this model of St Croix rod as well as other St Croix fishing rods. It is a well-balanced setup and relatively light weight which is great for those who are concerned of being a setup that would be tiring to hold any length of time. The Twin Power is extremely smooth as well as having a very smooth drag system to allow you to dial in the correct drag easily. Also having a power knob crank handle allows you to haul in the catch quickly. Being a solid reel and featuring some of the best technology loaded into a reel, The Twin Power is a great choice for those who what top notch quality and is very much comparable to the Shimano Stella.
