Ready to fish! The Shappell DX4000 Ice Shelter is a factory pre-assembled cabin-style fish house designed to make ice fishing comfortable, convenient, and productive for 2-3 anglers. Crafted of windproof, waterproof, fire retardant 600-denier textured polyester, the DX4000 is built on a sturdy polyethylene sled base supporting a shock-corded steel frame; bows in the roof provide a full 80" of central headroom. The double-stitched tent is fully attached to the base—no air gaps—and has a black top to capture the sun's heat; it's equipped with 2 bi-directional zippered doors and 6 removable windows (two 9" x 16" plus four 9" x 30") with shades. The shelter base folds in half for easy transport and includes handy molded-in bucket carriers, marine-carpeted floors, and 2 staggered 11" x 35" fishing holes with hinged covers. Pop-up skis can be deployed to raise the entire unit by 6", so you can adjust positioning or even change spots by hand. Blackout interior for stealthy sight fishing; reflectors for nighttime safety.
