Rated 5 out of 5 by KeithMcGowan from Great call for good price The express Shoreman is a great call to get your feet wet with. it is very easy to blow, if you can whistle you can make it honk realistically. One of the nice things about this call for a beginner is, as easy as it is to get a basic honk, you will never feel limited by the call as you get better. I carry one with me every day.

Rated 2 out of 5 by HuntTex from No instructions Call does not come with any information on what sound to make or techniques to use. I guess you have to buy the video separate. For the price of this it should have some information. I have used my Loman snow goose call for years in Texas. It came with information on how to call. This one does not. But even the experience Maryland goose hunter I was with thought the sound was too high. I rated it low due to cost and no information provided.

It is a little limited on volume and some notes compared to some short reeds, but makes up for it with its ease of use. Anybody looking for a great beginner call to learn on or looking for a different sound to add to your setup get this call.

I bought mine last year and this is my first season using it in the field. So far, it's been bringing the geese in like nobody's business.

I was able to use with ease at home but when I got in the field it was 15 degrees and colder both days. Would not work at all in the cold and would go right to the high note. could not get a low note. Another guy that is good on a flute also tried and couldn't work it. So if it's 50 degrees where your at go for it.

can someone please tell me how to use this call?

i Bought this call to use cuz the reviews. I need help with hand motions and how to blow it. Or can some one help me with the shorty i have both,

First thing to remember is that all duck and goose calls require you to grunt into the call breathing from your diaphragm instead of just blowing on the call. It took me a while to get this down and when I finally did, it made a world of difference. In other words, blow from your stomach and not from your lungs. After you get the sound right, play with the various honking and so forth to get the goose calls down. I hope this helps!
