SA's popular, easy-loading Titan taper, infused with different formulations of tungsten powder, has created a triple-density line with remarkable properties. Scientific Anglers Sonar Titan Intermediate/Sink 3/Sink 5 is a sinking fly line that's outstanding for fishing streamers. It casts amazingly well, and is configured to take your offering deep and set up a straight-line connection to your fly utilizing SA's Sonar Sinking Technology. The running line body provides Intermediate Hover-style submersion at a rate of 1.25 inch per second, while the Sink 3 midsection sinks at 2.5-3.5 ips, and the quick-dropping Sink 5 tip section sinks at at 4.5-6.0 ips. This line delivers excellent turnover, with its short, powerful head and short front taper combining to easily deposit large flies in faraway holding spots. Friction-reducing Mastery Texture micro-dimpling helps maximize casting distance and enable clean pickups; slick Advanced Shooting Technology coating enhances line flow through the guides.
