A high number of tiny U-shaped hollow-fiber micro-tubes trap contaminants while allowing decontaminated water to freely pass through at a high flow rate. This efficient system eliminates the need to store water and reduces the possibility of water contamination after the filtration process. The sturdy filtering membranes withstand backwashing: use the included syringe to restore up to 98.5% of the filter's flow rate each time you clean it. The Micro Squeeze can be cleaned and reused often with a rating up to 100,000 gallons, eliminating the need for expensive replacement cartridges. Optimize use by backwashing and sanitizing the filter after every outing. You can use the filter several ways: attach to the included drinking pouch, use the included straw to drink directly from your water source, connect to your hydration pack tubing, or screw onto standard disposable bottles (28mm thread). A redesigned gusset on the included 32-ounce (1-liter) Squeeze Pouch allows easy filling and stability.
