A silky-smooth bolt and detachable box magazine provide uncompromising reliability. A 2-position tang safety is easy to reach with the shooter's thumb. Sling swivel stuffs allow you to carry the rifle with a sling and attach a bipod to the forend. The Savage Axis II comes with a factory-mounted and bore-sighted Weaver® KASPA™ 3–9x40mm scope, featuring multi-coated lenses, nitrogen-purged viewing, and crisp ¼ MOA adjustments.
