Savage 10 BA Stealth Bolt-Action Rifle
The Savage® 10 BA Stealth Bolt-Action Rifle is offered as part of Savage's series of specialty rifles; this one is specifically designed for tactical, long-range shooting. A Savage blueprinted action sits in a customized Drake Hunter/Stalker monolithic aluminum chassis, machined from a solid billet. The chassis accepts buffer tube stocks, AR-style pistol grips, and AICS-patterned magazines. The BA Stealth comes equipped with a Fab Defense™ GL 6-position, shock-absorbing buttstock using an adjustable cheek riser. The slim and short forend has M-LOK™ slots for attaching aftermarket tactical accessories. The 10 BA Stealth comes equipped with the Savage AccuTrigger® that is user adjustable to obtain a light, crisp release with no creep. The heavy contour, fluted barrel has an 11-degree crown, is threaded (5/8x24), and comes equipped with a thread protector. An EGW 1-piece rail accommodates the attachment optical sights. The bolt handle is oversized for ease of manipulation, and a 3-position safety allows the chamber to be loaded and unloaded with the safety engaged. The Savage 10 BA Stealth is a highly modular bolt-action rifle, which is capable of striking targets at ultra-long range. Includes one 10-round polymer magazine.

Bolt way too tight, wont loosenPrice was solid but the quality of the rifle is as poor as Savage's Customer Service. Bought August 5th, took home, instaled bolt. Way too tight even after oil and attempted cycle. Avoid and buy the RPR instead.

Impressive Performance. 1/2" Groups Consistent!I bought this rifle a few months back and since had the chance to run it thorough a break in period of 35 rounds. Plus I have had it out a few times doing 100m group test. I shot 4 groupings yesterday of 3 shots each and my largest group was 7/6" and my smallest was 1/4". I would consider myself a novice shooter and I am sure this rifle could shine even brighter in the hands of a pro. I debated between this and the ruger precision, after watching some reviews online, stats were showing this rifle to be getting slightly better groups. I am happy with my decision. Savage is releasing some very nice products these days, 1/2 groups constantly out of a factory mass production riflle... what more can you want?

I set up with 4-16x44 Vortex with MRAD putting away my 270 win this will be my 1000 yard rifle. Can cover 300 yards with a quarter. unfreaking beleivableI bought this gun in 6.5 creedmoor because i have a ruger american preditor that i love dearly and to my great surprise this gun shoots even better, by the end of the first box of shells i had two groups measuring rite around 1/4 inch and no recoil i can spot my own shots the barrel don't seem to heat up past luke warm so I'm getting ready to start doing the long range precision rifle circuit will be headed to the 1000 yd range next week to tweek my ballistic dope all smiles here.

Incredibly accurateFit and feel of this rifle takes a back seat to nobody. I was amazed at how accurate it is just after bore sighting. I still have some work to do with my scope but the consistency of this rifle is unbelievable .Easy to accessorize. Photo is my first 20 shots out of it with me adjusting the scope (still have work to do). Hornady AMAX bullet 123g. You can't see 20 shots here.... LOL!!!

I'm still in shock... am I dreaming?Bought this rifle today , planing on taking it to a journey to 1000 meters... Today I broke the barrel in and set my scope to zero... 168g hornady match in hornady match brass using Br2 cci primer with 42gr of 3031 set to 2.280 COL... My face hurts from the permanent smile left after shooting this !
Pros :
Smoothest factory trigger hands down
Amazing safety features on the trigger make me feel confident
Well balanced, this rifle will fit anyone quite well
Aesthetically pleasing !!? YEP
Cons :
I wish it had shipped with a muzzle brake ... Not really a con but waiting to order a brake and having to look at the thread protector is depressing.... Yep, it's a weak con... All I can think of...
10/10 you won't regret it
Chances are you will become a savage fan(boy)or girl
