Offering a smooth trigger pull, superior reliability, and fast targeting, the Ruger® Security-9® Semi-Auto Pistol with Viridian® E-Series™ Laser Sight offer dependable protection from a small, easy-to-conceal package. Built around the same Secure Action used in the LCP II, this pistol offers the smooth trigger of an internal hammer system. An added benefit of the reliable Secure Action system is that it's easier to rack the slide, compared to a similar size striker-fired pistol. Securely mounted to the rail and trigger guard, the factory-installed Viridian E-Series red (635-650 nm) laser sight weighs just over a 1/2 oz. with the installed battery. With ambidextrous push-button activation, this sight delivers even faster target acquisition. The pistol's frame is constructed with glass-filled nylon, and a precision-machined, hard-coated aluminum chassis that contacts the slide with full-length guide rails. The slide is made of through-hardened alloy steel, and features front and rear serrations for improved slide manipulation and control. Dovetailed 3-dot sights offer intuitive target acquisition, while a trigger safety and a manual thumb safety ensure safe, reliable handling. Ships with 2 magazines.
