Ruger Gunsite Scout Bolt-Action Rifle

Developed in conjunction with Gunsite, one of the premier firearms training facilities in the world, Ruger's® Gunsite Scout Bolt-Action Rifle is packed with Gunsite-approved features that make it one of the lightest, hardest-hitting firearms on the market. It offers a built-in accurate sighting system with ghost-ring adjustable rear aperture sight, nonglare front-post sight, integral scope mounts and a forward-mounted Picatinny rail that accepts modern optics. American walnut stock features a soft rubber butt pad with three included ½" spacers allowing proper sizing for different shooters or to match a variety of outerwear and defensive gear layers. Free-floating, cold-hammer-forged 16.1" barrel enhances accuracy. Nonrotating, Mauser-type controlled round feed extractor features a fixed blade-type ejector for positive ejection of empty cases as the bolt moves fully rearward. Ruger Precision Rifle® hybrid muzzle brake (thread protector included) reduces recoil and minimizes noise and blast to the sides of the shooter. Four-round detachable box magazine with push-forward magazine release just forward of the trigger guard. Includes a rugged, one-piece stainless steel bolt, glass-reinforced nylon trigger guard and magazine well, three-position safety, scope rings and sling swivel studs.
