With the crisp-breaking Ruger Marksman Adjustable™ trigger that offers a customizable pull between 3 and 5 lbs., the Ruger American® Rifle Predator® Bolt-Action Rifle with AI-Style Magazine proves perfect for hunters who rely on consistency when shots matter most. This model uses AI-style magazines (1 magazine included) compatible with all AICS (Accuracy International Chassis Systems). Molded from 50% glass-filled nylon, the Ruger-manufactured magazine features dust covers and stainless steel springs. Rugged composite stock has a molded-in Power Bedding® system to rigidly attach the barreled action to the stock and free-float the barrel. A rubber recoil pad absorbs recoil and keep the butt planted firmly in the shoulder. The Predator model features a heavier tapered barrel to aid in long-range shooting; and, is threaded (5/8"-24). The barrel is cold hammer-forged, resulting in ultra-precise rifling for exceptional accuracy. A 3-lug bolt design with a 70° bolt lift provides plenty of clearance between the bolt handle and the riflescope. A 2-position tang safety is easily accessible and quick to operate by both right- and left-handed shooters; and, the bolt can be cycled for loading and unloading the rifle with the safety engaged. A cocking indicator at the end of the bolt can be seen and felt. The drilled and tapped receiver comes with a factory-installed 1-piece aluminum, sight rail. Made in USA.
