The Ruger® 10/22® Compact Semi-Auto Rifle is one of the most popular and widely used .22 rifles in the US. And justifiably so–the 10/22 has had a solid reputation for reliability and accuracy for over 50 years, making it a favorite for target shooting, plinking, and small-game hunting. This Compact model features a shorter length of pull, barrel, and overall length to accommodate younger and smaller-framed shooters. It also features the Ruger Modular Stock System with the low-comb, compact length-of-pull module. A fiber-optic front sight and adjustable fiber-optic rear sight allow you to obtain excellent accuracy in dim light as well as in bright daylight. The 10/22 semi-auto rimfire rifle utilizes a blowback semi-auto action and 10-shot rotary magazine, both of which are legendary for reliability. The hammer-forged barrel locks into the receiver by a unique 2-screw, V-block system that provides unsurpassed accuracy for a mass-produced rimfire rifle. The included scope base screws onto the drilled and tapped receiver and is compatible with both Weaver-style or 3/8" tip-off scope rings. Positive, push-button cross-bolt safety.
