Flash- and water-resistant leather uppers are fortified with SuperFabric® instep panels, Lycra® tongues, a PTFE coating for flame resistance, moisture-wicking lining with Aegis Microbe Shield, drainage vents, fiberglass shanks for improved stability, and high-walled Vibram® outsoles. Rated 5 out of 5 by roboknee30 from Best Pair of boots I wore in the army These were hand down the best boots that I wore while i was in the Army. They lasted through years of service and have kept on kicking since I got out. I have had them for almost 6 years now and they are still going strong. Other than some minor pealing of the rubber aroudn the toe, they have held up very well for me, and were very comfortable on my feet. I would recommend these boots to anyone who is looking for a tough warm weather boot. They will not hold up too well to cold weather due to the venting on the sides.
