Rated 5 out of 5 by olemanriver from Addictive Hunted the 2nd big game season this year in Colorado. Found the bulls still with cows, so we brought out this call. Literally could not use this call without an Elk response. In fact every time we called with it we had company. Harvested a "called in" 6x6 at 40 yards. Looks like all the other calls out there, but there is something different (irresistible) about the tone. Won't leave camp without it!

Our hunt was to early and there was not much rut activity, but we were still able to call in elk including the one I took.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Biggs300 from Simple and Effective Cow Call I have 3 or 4 elk calls, including one other cow call and was a bit skeptical when I saw and heard the online demo's for this call. As usual, Cabela's quickly delivered my package and I anxiously tried the call. I knew immediately that it was a keeper. The call is loud and I can easily duplicate almost any recorded elk cow sound I've heard. I see no reason why it will not work the same in the field.
