The shooting head is built 2 sizes above AFTM standard to correctly load modern rods. EasyID loop at the back end ensures quick recognition. RIO recommends attaching 0.024"/0.026" shooting line, or 25 lb. RIO SlickShooter/GripShooter to 7- and 8-wt. heads; and 0.030"/0.032" shooting line or 35 lb. RIO SlickShooter/GripShooter to 8-, 9-, and 10-wt. heads.
