Ankle deep waders from
love their rods - hate their wadersI bought them in the fall two years ago, three months later (FEB) the crotch leaked. Cutting a fishing trip short. I thought it was me, because I couldn't believe they would leak less than year in. I Bought depends. In the spring I was fishing and the boots filled up with water - there's no way I could go that much. The realization the $160 waders were worthless. So for the last two years I've been staying in the shallows. This weekend I went out and my left foot was soaked. More disappointment. I love their rods hate their waders.

Just spend the extra moneyHad these waders not even a month and have a leak around the right shin. If you are thinking about buying waders, spend the extra couple hundred on a different pair. Redington is difficult to work with and it took me over a month to even receive these in the mail.. This is the last time I buy something from Redington, But one thing that is good about Redingtons Waders is they have a Lifetime warranty. Still not worth dealing with Redington's 'Below average" service.

Not Waterproof Zipper & PocketThis product is advertised that there is a waterproof zipper on the chest, which it has. However, the pocket itself is NOT waterproof. I learned this the hard way... as I put my mobile phone in the front pocket thinking it was protected by the waterproof zipper. The pocket filled with water from the bottom up. Very surprised that the manufacturer would design a non-waterproof pocket with a waterproof zipper.

invest in better wadersI decided to purchase a pair of Palix River waders after many years of wearing neoprene waders. Fishing mainly warm waters in Ontario, I thought having a light weight breathable and well priced waders would be a nice change. Well to my disappointment, the waders starting leaking in both legs with the first 2 hours of use. Is there no quality control for your product. I couldn't even get a full day from these waders. Complete waste of money and in Canada we are paying a 40% premium for them. The bottom line is, if you want a breathable wader than spend a bit more and buy a more reliable brand. The only good thing is that Basspro always stands behind the products they sell and will be returning them and investing in a better more reliable wader.
