MehOk bibs for the money but the insulation is not much. They will be ok for moving but not great for stand sitting without a few base layers. Mine arrived missing a button on the back pocket.
I'm 5'9", 180 and a lg is just a little big.

Sizing for tall guysThis review is only to help with sizing for us tall guys. I gave it 5 stars for value and pleased with fit. I have not used these up on the mountain yet. I'm 6'4 and around 215 lbs. I bought XL Tall. They fit me perfectly. Plenty of leg length to reach my boots. Room in the crotch area is good. Plenty of room for a hoodie underneath if so desired. Hunting pants over long johns are no problem. Plenty of room all around for flexibility to sit and kneel. As others have mentioned, I like how the chest area comes up high on the chest. My 6 '6' 195 lbs son tried these on and length was still good. Needed an Large though, XL was too roomy. Warmth appears it will meet my needs although untested yet. I hunt northern Colorado mountains 9-10K altitude so I layer a lot.

Almost useless BIBSBiggest complaint is that there is no access to inside pockets without taking off or unzipping jacket. Design could have been a little better. Had I known this I would never have bought them. Another problem is that the shoulder straps will not stay adjusted.

Silent Hide is not quiet at all!I should have looked at these in the store before I bought them. I wanted something quiet for bow hunting, so I got these because of the name. The outer layer is like a bluejean material and is very noisy. When you are walking to the stand, the material makes more noise than your footsteps. I'll keep them to wear when I'm not hunting because they seem well made and warm. They are useless for bow hunting as far as I'm concerned.

Great product!I am a city boy living in a small town, but there are a number of elderly people living on the block so I became the self-appointed snow blower. I needed something that was comfortable, warm, soft, reasonably water resistant, and easy to move around in even with layer of clothes underneath, and easy to put on and take off. The RedHead Silent Hide insulated bib is all of that.

COLD WEATHER KILLERSI bought these bibs for Cold weather hunting in NY. Use them this past weekend in NY with the low at 27. Had 1 layer underneath them and they kept me warm in my blind for my 4 plus hours of sitting. Never got cold. They are slightly noisy but the warmth is great so an excellent trade. Length was excellent going over my boots. I ordered a large and have plenty of room. Excellent bibs, extremely warm and wind proof. Excellent value!

It's All About the PocketsI'm guessing most deer hunters are like me. We pack our pockets full of stuff. Unfortunately the pockets on these bibs are poorly thought out, at least for me. The chest pockets are set at an awkward angle. For me, they are very difficult to get to. The zipper goes up and down and you reach into them to get stuff out, unlike what I've been used to in the past. Chest pockets that load up and down. These bibs also lack cargo pockets. How do you leave cargo pockets off hunting pants or bibs is beyond me. I always shove my gloves and treestand harness suspension strap into my cargo pants along with other misc stuff...now where do I put them? Other than that the bibs are comfortable, fit well, and are warm. If the pocket issue was better thought out, these would have received a 4.

I am 6,4 but my waist size is only 32 so i am having trouble figuring out what size to get
Asked by: dmac2000
If my waist is 36, chest is 48, and inseam is 30.....what size do I get for hunting bib overalls?
The sizing chart is really confusing.
Asked by: another name
Hi, you might want to order by chest size to fit your upper body. The waist will be a bit big but if you wear a belt or pants under the bibs you should not have too much of issue in size.
Order an XL chest size 46 – 48 the waist will be 40 – 42 inseam 30"
Thank you

Ok, I give up, I went to the sizing charts and it says I need to have a size XL (my waist is 40-42) my inseam is 28-inches so it says I need a size 32-inch inseam. So, if I order a size XL what length inseam will I get?
Asked by: The Dough Doc
Size XL will have a 32" inseam. Tall sizes have a 34" inseam.
