Almost 15 yearsI bought a pair of Ranchers in January 2005. These boots are hands down the best pair of anything I've ever put on my feet. I'm guessing they are Rancher 1 and not II. My soles are worn down to comfortable but not worn out. The only reason I was looking was I wanted a 'dress pair' and these were not being put out to pasture. I would definitely recommend the boots I bought back then. From other reviews it sounds like they changed the soles. I'm going to check yes because there's not an unsure.

First pair of pull on bootsI am 53 years old and have always wore lace up boots. I decided to try the pull ons and since this was the most comfortable pair I could find I purchased them. After close to two years of heavy use in mud, stone and asphalt the uppers are still rock solid. That's very impressive because I have never oiled them or took care of them at all. They would still be in great shape if not for the soles. I have wore them down almost to the threads on the outside edges. I love these boots and will probably buy another pair soon. I do wish the soles were as durable as the upper is.

Comfortable but...but poor quality SoleThe bottom soles of these boots wore down completely in less than 4 months of everyday use. Should have lasted at least a year but not even close. Very comfortable inside but be prepared to replace them sooner than expected if you use them for work. Not very durable, but comfortable. Bass Pro refunded me- just make sure you keep your receipt. Think they have a 1 yr. warranty.

Long term look on a affordable bootThese have been one of the best pair of do everything boots I have ever bought. From job sites to paintball to hiking to snow wear, these things have you covered. I never had an issue with them leaking, and they have been on a ton of watery adventures.
I walk on a lot of concrete and when I got them I was slightly worried with the sole, and I was proven wrong. They do wear in the heal, but once they form to the shape that you walk they are just fine.
While there is no insulation in these, You can make it up by wearing insulated socks, having no insulation is nice for the summer.
All in all these suckers are very good, and if you ask me They are well worth it.

A Good Boot for the MoneyI've had this boot for two years, using a few times each week. Comfortable to wear, though not well-padded, and the quick on/off is a pleasure compared to lace-up boots.
The durability of the top leather has been excellent. The inside liner on the sole has worn through, and the boot is now only semi-water resistant. No delaminating of the sole layers, which is common boot problem with some other boots.

Very poor solesI purchased the rancher 2 boots a month ago and the soles are already smooth and braking. I am on my feet for maybe 8 hours a day at work. I have bought cheaper boots that have lasted longer. They look brand new till you look at the bottom then they look like their 5 years old. I should get a replacement pair. But I will probably go with a better brand that will last longer. For $130.00 they should last longer than a month.

extreme comfortI am a boot guy and these are the most comfortable boots I have purchased. They honestly fit like a shoe when walking around. The weathered look and material makes them perfect so I don't have to worry about a "break in" period as with other boots. I was wearing these boots on 10 hour work days the first day out of the box with no issues. Must have for you boot guys.

Fifth PairI have been wearing red head rancher boots for 8-10 years. The new new design rancher 2 is even better. Never been any sore feet break in time. Size is always the same. I walk miles and miles everyday on a construction site and these boots last 1 1/2 to 2 years ever time. Usually the sole wears down and get smooth but these new generations have a trendier sole and so far are outlasting the older style. Would highly recommended these to anyone who needs a durable boot and walks a lot. They are very waterproof and stay that way for their lifetime which with my use is around 2 years. Keep up the good work Red Head!
Hello I want to know the warranty of this boots, I saw in the reviews that they are very comfortable but they have problems with the soles, thanks

Thank you for your question!
Online, we can accept Bass Pro gift cards and prepaid debit cards for purchases; if you're using a prepaid debit card and need to pay using another method of payment, however, you'll need to call 1-800-227-7776 to place the order. You can also use Cabela's cards by phone at that number, although as of this writing they cannot be used online with Bass Pro.
