Great training toolI have had this since before Christmas (2017) to help train my male boxer (10 months old now) It's a great training tool if done properly, please don't just put it on your dog and hit the button when they do something wrong. Condition them to it first so they understand what it means. My male pup goes with me everywhere and is off leash 95% of the time (Lowes, Bass Pro, etc...) The highest setting I have had to use on him was a 3 (I can't feel anything below a 5 in the palm of my hand) most of the time it's set on 1 and that's enough to get his attention. I've done send and recall work with him well over 100 yards and collar seems to do just fine (claims to have 1,000 yard range, that's well out of my line of sight so can't confirm/deny it still works at that distance). We just got a female and am in the market to pick up a second collar to start working with her on the same remote

Very EffectiveWe used the collar on our 3 year old german shepard/malute mix and he reacted very quickly to it. He is a larger size dog so we were worried that it would not work as well. We had a problem with him running off on the property and when we would call his name he would not listen. That has now changed. The first time we used it he was a bit confused. We used the vibration first as a warning and then we used the nip feature. He got the hint right away. Love the collar and the remote that comes with it. The collar is pretty large too so it can work on pretty much any size dog.
The collar is way too long around my dogs neck. Is it possible to cut part of it off? I understand the antenna is built in, but I just want to know does it effect the whole integrity of the collar or will it just shorten the signal range?

Unfortunately, cutting the collar will damage the product, and will also void the warranty.

Does this product actually shock or zap the dog? I have a stubborn dog!

I have a RH2 1220V collar will the remote from this system control that older collar?
I purchased a Red Head electric transmitter (1250B) and collar. The transmitter is lost. Will a new transmitter still work my collar?
Asked by: AWork
Per the Manufacturer - "Yes, as long as they are both RH2, they should pair up and work together."

What is meant by "Vibration Assist"?
Can vibration be used alone or only in conjunction with other stimulation?
Asked by: havershap
The vibration assist can be used as a vibration only training alternative.
