RedHead No Fly Zone Explorer Long-Sleeve Shirt for Men
Discover the Great Outdoors—minus the bugs—in our RedHead® No Fly Zone™ Explorer Long-Sleeve Shirt. This bug-beating button-down incorporates one of the best innovations we've seen in a long time. No Fly Zone Insect Repellent Technology infuses the shirt with permethrin, a chemical that repels mosquitos, ants, ticks, chiggers, flies, midges, and more. Best of all, it feels like a normal shirt. You can't even tell the chemical is there...but the bugs can! This long-sleeve shirt is made from lightweight, durable 100% nylon that's great for outdoor activities like fishing, camping, hiking, and much more. Designed specifically for awesome outdoor performance, this shirt features Moisture Control System® fabric that manages sweat. UPF 50+ protection in the fabric safeguards your skin, and a special flip-up collar adds even more coverage. Roll tabs on this fishing shirt help secure the long sleeves when you roll them up, and a vented cape back helps encourage airflow. Our RedHead No Fly Zone Ripstop Long-Sleeve Shirt for men is finished with 2 chest pockets (1 hook 'n' loop, 1 zip) to keep small items close at hand. Machine wash; do not dry clean. Imported.

Nice shirt for a RedHeadSo for this shirt is pretty comfy and does well in the warm temps. I work outdoors, both in and out of wooded area's, so ticks and nefarious bugs are a concern. Going with a shirt soaked in permethrin is sort of common sense. The one drawback I have with this shirt is the sleeve length for the Tall size, its still about .5 - 1 inch too short (I'm 6'5"). Everything else is perfect, the torso length, chest girth, etc.
Difference between the ripstop shirt and the explorer shirt?
What is the difference between the ripstop shirt and the explorer shirt?
Asked by: Chriswar
Thank you for your inquiry. Both shirts are made of 100% nylon, but the Ripstop shirt is made of a 'ripstop' type of nylon that is constructed of a tougher weave that stops a rip from opening, and though they both also have two chest pockets, the Ripstop shirt also has a secondary left-side chest zip pocket. The Explorer shirt does not feature that secondary pocket.
