Not made for a lot of walkingGreat boot to have in boat, tall enough for rain gear to go over, non slip on slippery boat floor, keep feet dry. I started to wear them waking dog in rain and light snow. Sole wore out and cracked at ball of foot. Good for walking in grass just not for walking the streets.

Good boot for around the house or fishingI bought these boots in 2012 for a fishing trip to keep my feet wet in the rain. These are lightweight perfect for packing into travel bag to keep the weight low. Fit perfect and very comfortable and have lasted until now Dec2017

Great Boot for a month or twoPro-
The boots are very comfortable and serve multiple purposes.I used them around the yard and for early deer season.
Terrible quality! After my 1st pair only lasting 1 month, due to water leaking in, I returned them to Bass Pro for an exchange. The 2nd pair lasted longer, but yet again the rubber started to crack on the lower boot. I returned for the 3rd time and new pair showed the same issue as the previous.
I do not recommend these boots. Maybe try Muck Brand or another. These were low cost but you will see why in a very short period.

2 pairs purchased, both crackedCheap Boots. 1st pair the sole cracked and allows in water. Thought it was fluke, bought another pair, sure enough, another cracked sole. They simply didn't last. Be better off with a plastic bag wrapped around foot than spending money on these. Sorry, true story times two....

Mallard vs All Purpose BootMallard: thinner neoprene and rubber on top of boot. Noticeably thinner. Red Head even says so...4mm vs 5mm for All purpose boot. Mallard seems to have a slightly thicker sole than All purpose. Mallard is $10 more than All Purpose. For my money, I'll go with All purpose next time
