Freakin awesomeI got this lure cuz ive seen my favorite FLW pro Jacob Wheeler use this so i got it to try it out. Oh my gosh its a beast i smash it thro logs rocks weeds everthing and it blows me away. Caught a big 3lbs female. AWESOMENESS!!!!!!!!!!!

Quality Fish CatcherStarted using the Shad Shallow in late season river fishing conditions. I couldn't stop the smallmouth bass from hitting it. Long cast with a stop and go retrieve you need to be prepared for the explosion. A definite must for your tackle arsenal! You will not be disappointed!

small mouth love umi like to drag this baby through small mouth beds and they just cant resist it. i have several colors and they all work great.

AmazingI had owned this in silver, and it was my best lure. Sadly, I lost it on a cast due to my terrible knot tying skills (very sad) so I bought two more, one in silver and one in firetiger. First day I used it in firetiger I caught 3 pickerel and 2 bass in a few hours. The fish strike insanely fast with this lure so be alert - I would consider this a fast action lure. It is a lot of fun to use so buy this lure! I've never had as much luck with any other lure as I have with this one. God bless Rapala.

Realistic Perch ColorThe Yellow Perch #17 is a good natural looking color pattern. The bait is durable and has good flash.
Each fishing location will be different; even each trip to the same area might have different results so there isn’t really a “Best” color to use when fishing. One color may work better one time but not as well the next time you fish. So, when selecting a lure color take a look at your surrounds (landscape and wildlife) to determine the color of lure to use. If the water is dark and murky (or stained) use bright and/or fluorescent colors that can draw the fish’s attention to the lure. If the water is clear, look around if the area and use colors which blend with the surrounds. If the area is rocky use a brown, tan, or a similar color. If there is grass and weeds then use more of the green colors. Each location will be different so try a good range of colors. Thank you for your question.

What species of fish do you catch?
I mainly fish for Chain pickerel (not walleye), yellow perch, white perch, sunfish (redbreast, pumpkinseed, etc), and smallmouth bass. What color and size should I get.

If you mean like a real pronounced walk the dog action then no. When jerked it mainly darts in a straight line
