Its lip design rockets the X-Rap Deep towards the bottom. Rip for Xtreme Slashbait action at any depth. Use the stop and go technique for suspending on stalls or slow-wind for classic Rapala ''wounded-minnow'' action. XRD08 - #6 treble hook; XRD10 - #4 & 5 treble hooks.

great bait for bassI fished this lure all last season and is phenomenal the bass really kill this lure, especially in the spring time during the spawn work it reel nice and slow over there beds, and they cant resist it

Rapala does it againXraps are the best. I love the glass colors. The deep is just as good as the others. I like to replace the hooks on freshwater xraps and take m into saltwater. This dude lasted two casts and then It was worthless. two barracudas (8 pounds and 15 pounds) hammered it. I got both of them in and bought another. They need to make a new saltwater version in the same size an color. I caught the barracudas on 4" in perch

Walleye SpecialTwo years ago, my wife and I used them in 4' versin with Ghost, Perch and Hot Steel while trolling in Canada. Last year we used them for night fishing in Little Bay De Noc, Escanaba, Michigan and the results were spectacular. I am a real advocate for Rapala Lures as I have well over 300 different Rapala Lures and use most all of them throughout the year. The latest was using the 4" Silver for Stripers, using trolling boards with 2.5 oz. weight and fishing at 24 feet with very good success, however the Deep Diver Tail Dancers are better for the Stripers.
does the x rap deep work in warm water temperatures?
