The Pursuit® X1 Compact Spotting Scope is a very lightweight spotter for extended treks deep into the backcountry. Featuring a Cassegrain-style mirror system, the short-bodied Pursuit scope still gives huge power and range. It features a lightweight polycarbonate body, angled eyepiece, fully multicoated optics, protective rubber armor, and dual focus. Nitrogen filled; fogproof and waterproof. Includes compact folding tabletop tripod, padded case, and shoulder strap.

Rated 4 out of 5 by StaunchSetter from For the price, a great little optic I tested this optic yesterday on a 300M range. Pros: 1. Great price on the unit. 2. Small and easily portable. 3. Solid construction. 4. Nice carrying bag included. 5. Neat little tripod. 6. Fairly clear optic, once you get it focused. 7. Zooms way in. 75x is in there. Cons: 1. Difficult to focus. The focus knob makes large adjustments, so it takes a very light touch to dial it in. 2. Optic coating is not phenomenal. Target contrast is not amazing. 3. Optic signature is bright, meaning if you look back at it from the target, it has a mirror quality and shows up against the background. This issue might only come into play if you were hunting very wary game, so it isn't really important (unless it is). 4. Tough to hold still. The neat little tripod doesn't do an awesome job of holding the optic still, so you might find yourself dizzy if you aren't careful. Bottom line: This is a great product for the money, and a decent product for medium-distance shooting. Also, it would work just fine for a travel unit, where size and expense matters (if something happens, it isn't the end of the world at this price point). After working to adjust the focus, I could clearly see shot placement at 300M. This is no high end spotting scope, but it gets the job done for a great price. If you are shooting a long way, you might want to spend more. All in all, I am glad I bought it. I sincerely hope this review helps you.

I couldn't see 30 caliber holes in the target at 200 yards. Zoom is adequate, it just doesn't give a clear enough image. If you want to see holes in your target past 100 yards, don't get this scope.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Session09 from Nice little package! Picked this scope up after doing a ton of research and watching a lot of video on YouTube. Looked at Occulous (the other house brand) and many other brand name spotters talked to some friends who have Nikons an Buschnells and got to use each of the brands mentioned. After all that I went to the Bridgeport store to physically look at the new spotters the had and fondled them all. Like I said before, I went with this one. It has all the features you could want and is fantastic at the range. I didn't get to go beyond 150 yards spotting as the 300 yard lane was booked solid the whole day. This scope is built rock solid! For the money I don't think you can get any bette! The optics were crisp and clear and the unit focused in easily. What more could you Want? It comes with a tabletop tripos and soft bag. Will probably upgrade the bag to a hard case. Just my personal preference.
