You will not be satisfiedI got this as birthday gift. And I must say the Leopold Sequoia bought 20 years ago is hands down a better scope.
This will focus at 20 power, but beyond that its useless. It fogs up bad when going from a warm truck to being used outside.
No eye releaf, view range is like looking through a key hole.
Tripod is okay, looks like it was built in 1950.
BUT it has a awesome case. (Though mine didn't come with a strap). But its too big to Put in your backpack. And it doesn't have a bag or sack case.
Overall, it's a waste of money.

what i expectedthis was my first ever spotting scope. I only wanted one for range use out to 200 yds.. this was the ONLY one they carry at the Concord Mills store. On sale for 49.95. Anyway ,I reluctantly took one not expecting much, but hoping it would do what I needed. 20x is usable , but not terribly clear. Anything above that is hardly usable. Focus knob has about 2 turns of slack before it moves the focus. When the focus is adjusted the image in the scope moves horizontally. 60x is like looking through a straw. Eye relief is non existant. Must take off glasses, even with the eye protector rolled forward. Best thing about it was the tripod. Will return for refund, save for a better one. Not sure why they don't carry any others at this store, or maybe the salesperson was just trying to move these. I didn't see any others.

Very impressed....so far!Received this yesterday, and was very impressed with the packaging. The scope came with a molded hardside case and the scope itself sits in a large piece of foam cut to the shape of the scope, for protection. The scope entire body of the scope is rubber coated to protect against bumping, jarring and knocks. The box is bulky, so consideration of it's space requirements needs to be allowed for. There is a plastic tube that fits over the ocular lens and screws into the body of the scope to protect the lens during movement/transit. I have not yet tried fitting the scope to a tripod, so cannot comment on it's sturdiness just yet. After several cursory looks through the scope I can state that the optics appear very clear. However, as you progress through the magnification levels some refocusing is required. Seems to be a well built scope for the price.
