Its unique design lets you bolt it through the transom into the splashwell. Works great!A power pole. I have a Tracker aluminum bass boat and this is very sturdy and no issues at all while using the power pole.

Exactly as advertisedBought this a few months ago to mount my Powerpole Micros. Easy to install and mounted directly to the micro mounts.
Will this work on a sun tracker 16' foot bass buggy 40hp?

Would this bracket leave a smaller footprint when bolted into the splash well of my tracker 175 txw instead of bolting the micro anchor directly to the splash well?

Yes... Mounting plate is smaller plus mounted properly you won't have to ever remove this bracket when you want to switch out or upgrade to a different Power Pole

Would this bracket also work with a Minn Kota Talon. I want to mount this on a Track 175 TWX with a 60 HP four stroke. Prefer the Talon only because I don't have to worry about the hydraulic pump mounting

No.... It's approved by mercury & tracker marine. This bracket has been tested besides if any issues arise they would have to prove bracket installation was the cause
