PENN International VIS Gold Two-Speed Lever Drag Reel
As long as the search for large game fish goes on, top anglers will rely on the legendary strength and performance of the PENN® International® VIS Two-Speed Lever Drag Reel. No other two-speed reel gives you a better chance of landing the fish of a lifetime. Its exclusive Quick-Shift II™ 2-speed system lets you instantly choose between 2 different gear ratios – fast retrieve speed or low power speed – with the push of a button. As a result, the PENN International VIS delivers maximum efficiency to get your trophy boatside, and in releasable condition. This world-class 6th-generation reel features a fully machined and anodized aluminum Full Metal Body and sideplates for maximum strength-to-weight ratio, with virtually zero flex even when spooled with heavy braid. The rugged spool is braid-ready and features line capacity rings graduated by thirds for easy reference. Hard stainless steel main and pinion gears ensure ultimate integrity and strength. With 5 shielded stainless steel ball bearings, you can expect smooth performance today, tomorrow, and well into the future. Meanwhile, the double-dog ratchet anti-reverse prevents line slippage beyond your own settings made via the Versa-Strike Adjustable Strike Stop system. The hesitation-free Dura-Drag® system functions flawlessly through a wide range of settings; advanced Line Shedding Lug design makes it impossible for the line to snap off at the reel. If you're on a saltwater trophy quest, a PENN International VIS reel is the smart angler's reel of choice. Gold finish.

Please explain max drag. 20 lbs doesn't sound like much. I fish sharks.

20 lbs may seem like not much but in terms of drag it adds up. Most people that I have talked to that fish for sharks on the beach use around 20 lbs drag. That is also the lowest this reel offers depending on the model it goes up to 100 lbs of drag.
