Good Quality! This is my second pontoon boat, the first being a framed boat. I have about 20 floats so far, both rivers and lakes and I am impressed. I almost didnt spend the extra money for this pontoon but glad I did. I was at a fly fishing show and compared the Scadden version to the Outcast and found the quality of this one to be better. The best part is the easy set up. It takes about 10 mins from bag to water, once you get the routine down. It weighs 50 lbs including the kayak bag I purchased for it which makes it easy to travel on a plane, if thats what you need. It doesnt come with a pump like the other review stated, BUT no pontoon does that I know of. You will need a small electric pump and a K pump to finish the inflate. It handles well in the rivers and the oars are perfect size for the boat. They fold out of the way easily which is a huge improvement over the framed pontoons. On a recent trip to Montana, I fished with a few other guys that had framed pontoons and after the end of the week, they all agreed that this pontoon was easier and the oar system was superior. The price is on the higher end and you can save a few hundred dollars with a different pontoon, but after having both versions, framed and frameless, its worth the extra money in my opinion. Great quality. It does sit a little lower in the water than some framed versions, so you will get a little wet in class II+ water, but then again, thats part of the fun. If you are only using it 2-3 tmes a year, I would save money and buy something less expensive, but if you want a solid pontoon thats easy to set up and is built to last etc, I would recommend this.

1st impressions and warningFinally was able to take my Stealth Pro to the river. Once there, when removing everything from the box and packaging, it is important to note that a manual air pump is NOT INCLUDED. Second, one of the orange attachment plates was bent and curled at one end right. Otherwise, the boat seemed to be solidly built.
IMHO, there should be a notice in the ad and/or box that a manual air pump is not included. Even with having an electric pump, you need to use the manual pump to top off the pontoon portion, and especially the seat area. More important, having a manual pump is critical for any potential slow leaks or repairs should you puncture a pontoon on a river float. My last pontoon boat I purchased from Cabelas, a 2 seat McKenzie drifter, the manual pump was included.
The footrest is a bar with two downward pegs and there are plastic straps on each side that the pegs slide into. The plastic straps seem secure and well attached, but time will tell. However, these pegs for the footbar slide out easily and depend on tension from pontoon inflation to hold them in place. When the boat is inflated, it is hard to put the bar back in the plastic straps if it slips out. The pegs each have a hole toward the bottom, so perhaps a small spring clip will solve the problem of it sliding out.
Compared to a framed pontoon, setup is sooo easy, just blow it up and go. The oar are small, at 5 feet. But given that they are affixed to a metal pin from the raft, longer may not be better if you can't ship them from a more traditional oarlock such as found on framed pontoons.
Performance wise, the little boat is very easily maneuvered. It is surprising quick for the small oars that it has. The seat was comfortable for the hour or so I spent in it. The portion of river I floated has moderate current with a few small riffle, but some tricky tight places with wood sweepers. These were easily maneuvered. One issue might be the seat and small cargo area do get wet. Whether this might have been a function of not being able to fully inflate the seat by not having a manual air pump to top it off,...perhaps.
After letting the air out, and stowing in a vehicle, it takes up roughly the space equivalent of a large duffel. Very easy to transport.
All in, after initial use, I would give it 3.5 stars, with losing a point for no manual pump or notice of not having one.

Great PurchaseEasy and quick to set up. I have used it on rivers and lakes alike. It packs into a bag and weighs under 50lbs with all accessories for taking on a plane. It handles the rapids well but you will get a little wet in class III water. The fameless feature is nice, less cumbersome than my previous frame version. It's not cheap but you get what you pay for. Very durable.
