Great Wake Bait with one GotchaThe hooks are too long and get entangled. I replaced them on mine short shank treble hooks and they work much better.
They work great in fresh water for Pike,Muskie and Bass.

Great lureThis is one of most exciting baits I've used in a long time..the only downside is on a decent size redfish 3out of the 6 hooks bent..leaving it unusable..I would like to see a stronger hook.

Pretty GoodThis seems like it will be a decent topwater lure once you make some modifications to the hooks. Out of the box, the treble hooks would become entangled with each other on most of my casts. Smaller split rings on the hooks seemed to fix the issue. I'm going to use mine for freshwater bass fishing, but one might opt for hooks with shorter shanks if they're worried about the compromised strength of having smaller split rings when fighting big saltwater fish. This thing is very buoyant as well, so you really have to reel to get it to drop below the surface. Having fluorocarbon line tied on had no effect on the acton for me. I've only tried it out once and have yet to catch anything, but the action on this thing fished with a slow retrieve looks very enticing for a topwater bite.

great plugThis a great wakebait for freshwater fishing as well as salt.Mann makes a wakebait thats exactly like this one the manns one is a great bait there really hard to find anymore though thats why i bought these,and its just as good.
Can this lure be used with braided line or would you put a leader ?

For crankbaits I would use fluorocarbon. Why: Besides its low-visibility, fluorocarbon does have some stretch to it and will prevent you from snapping your line when casting these very heavy baits. Oftentimes when casting these heavy lures with braid, the spool will suddenly stop in mid-cast because the line coming off the reel. You can use a fluorocarbon leader with braided line.
