Excellent LureThis lure catches everything inshore. It is so simple to use, you can straight retrieve or bounce it off the bottom. Either way, you'll catch fish. I added some Gulp Shrimp scent to it and it definitely helped. I caught tons of fish before the scent too. Caught my personal best snook on this bad boy this march (14 pounds). Definitely my favorite lure!

great jig!in s. fl it is known to be a great jig for snook, and it is super good around big bridges at night, but i found that nothing will out preform this jig (2oz. chartruse) for grouper! out fished live/cut bait 10-1 we lost about 10 that day to king fish and sharks hitting them. all in 30' of water 5 miles out. they hold up pretty good too for the abuse they take. the hooks tend to bend when you try to un hook a shark though. but for the price you can afford to have 30 of them on the boat.

Snook BulletSt. Pete Beach, Boca Ciega Bay, with underwater green lights - After 2 ½ months of casting every bait off my dock suggested by the “experts” and not getting a hit, I threw the hawk once and landed a 31 inch snook. 1st cast 1st hit!

totally hot lureOnly took 1 of these to Cuba this year, should have took 20 !. In three casts had a 12lb Jack then had a monster Tarpon (100lb +) shake the lure after 20min fight & then another 12lb jack all from the shore . Fourth cast got snagged and lost the jig
Why is the description so sparse? How long are they, How do they handle fast current (tailrace fishing.) ?
Asked by: kissmyfoot
the mid size ones are about 3" long, just bought couple of the heavier ones and they are 6 inches long. Would take the heavier ones to handle current I think
