SolidGreat reel for the money. Trip to the keys yielded a 30+ wahoo by high speed trolling. This reel has the capacity, smooth drag and good power to handle big fish. 4 star rating since we only used reels a few times so durability tbd

With that price and the product specsFor the Ocean Master reel specifications, the lever drag system of 28lbs (full), a gear ratio of 3.8:1, the 4 stainless steel ball bearings, a double dog anti reverse system for a fight with a large fish, I bought a very good product for my money and for the fishing games too. In the salted water, you never know what’s on the end of the line so, I had prefered to be really prepared for a big game.

5 stars for the moneyI bought this a year ago to replace a Shimano TLD 25 that was stolen...For $99 its worth every penny. Its smooth, drag is great and wish they would make a 50 and 80.
Is line capacity measured in feet, yards or meters?
Asked by: Hsbsvsjn

will this reel stand up to the tld 25 shimano or would I need to look at something else thank you for any help

Pretty much very similar but there's a few differences, so just as long as your using the same line on either one then you wont really see much difference except for the drag, gear ratio , and the actual make and style of the reels. so one may feel better for you compared to the other.
