The Frigate Spinning Reel is a masterpiece of design with a rigid and durable core, an all-aluminum frame, carbon fiber-reinforced composite rotor, forged double-anodized aluminum spool with braid grip arbor, and a rugged stainless steel main shaft. 7 double shielded ball bearings plus Powerlock™ instant anti-reverse; firm, smooth carbon fiber and PTFE drag stack; impregnated with special Ocean Silk lubricant for long-term reliability.
The Frigate Spinning Rod is sensitive, lightweight, and incredibly strong. Its hybrid 24-ton carbon and fiberglass blank offers incredible feel with just the right tip flex for all-around saltwater work. Stainless steel guides with aluminum oxide inserts; slip-resistant EVA handles.
