Excellent for shallow waterI use this bait in water 4 feet or less. It does a great job conning through wood and grass. It tracks well but will also search. It is also good around rocks and deflects well.

Good shallow running crankbaitUse this Norman lure alot in mid summer in or around weed beds and cover areas. Effective lure with many choices of finishes. Norman lures are a favorite of mine for successful catches.

Quality you expect from NormanYou won't be losing this bait on stumps and trees unless you have bad line. Comes through cover great and they typically run true right out of the package. Tie one on and catch some fish!

durable, productive crankI have never been a crankbait fisherman until I purchased this bait. I have caught LMB, smallies, and pike with this crank. Very effective around rock banks, chunk rock, and wood cover. Very durable, well built! The only thing I did have to do was tune it alittle to get it to run straight. I use the bluegill pattern up here in NE PA.

Fat Thumpers Bring 'Em HomeHave been extremely pleased with action and draw these crankbaits produce right out of the pack. I fish shallow rivers and the running depth is optimum for most of my needs plus they deflect off of cover quite well. Colors that have been hot for smallies in clear stained water are sunfish, glow perch and bull bream.

I want a square bill (or coffin lip) lure that has very hard side-to-side vibrating action. Any suggestions?

very best color(s) for bass?
Asked by: lurecollector
Each fishing location will be different; even each trip to the same area might have different results so there isn’t really a “Best” color to use when fishing. One color may work better one time but not as well the next time you fish. So, when selecting a lure color take a look at your surrounds (landscape and wildlife) to determine the color of lure to use. If the water is dark and murky (or stained) use bright and/or fluorescent colors that can draw the fish’s attention to the lure. If the water is clear, look around if the area and use colors which blend with the surrounds. If the area is rocky use a brown, tan, or a similar color. If there is grass and weeds then use more of the green colors. Each location will be different so try a good range of colors. Thank you for your question.
