Nikon P-Tactical 308 Rifle Scope
The Nikon® P-Tactical .308 Rifle Scope is designed specifically for use with modern AR-platform rifles chambered in .308 Win. (7.62 NATO). The BDC 800 reticle model is meant to zero at 100 yards with holdover points out to 800 yards. Fully multi-coated lenses produce sharp, high-contrast views of the target across the entire field of view at all magnification settings. The P-Tactical .308 is constructed of an exceptionally rugged, 1-piece aircraft grade aluminum alloy tube. Exposed, spring-loaded windage and elevation turrets adjust by hand at 1/4-M.O.A., and can be re-set to zero after compensating for a long shot. A quick-focus eyepiece and generous eye relief allow precise focus and protect the shooter's eyebrow from recoil. The Nikon P-Tactical .308 Rifle Scope is nitrogen filled and O-ring sealed to ensure waterproof and fogproof performance when shooting in adverse weather conditions. Full manufacturer's lifetime warranty.

Great Scope......except.....Bought this last year for my .308. As the scope is specific to this caliber I thought I would give it a try...for the money it was a very small investment. Sighted in the gun with 165 grain Federal Sierra Game King and at 100 yds it was .5 moa. Very pleased as it was being used for hunting. During the first hunt with it, I had placed the rifle into the kolpin boot on my quad. When I got to my tree stand and withdrew the weapon, I noticed that the elevation turret had been moved by the fabric in the gun boot. It's a tight fit. I still believe it is a great bench scope, but the kolpin gun boot keeps changing the turret. I would still recommend as long as it's not being used with a gun boot or else keep an eye on it.

Excellent no frills scope.I bought this to put on a Remington 700 in 260 Rem and I wanted a scope with good turrets with a clean reticle for holdover. This scope works well for my needs. It did perfect when I did a box test and has good crisp clicks when dialing. It has similar glass as my Burris scopes, which is perfectly functional for most of my hunting and shooting needs. I bought the MRAD version and it was simple switching from MOA. It has worked all the way to 900 yards so far. Highly recommend this scope for a good, functional working mans rifle setup.
