Nikon Monarch 2000 Rangefinder
The Nikon® Monarch 2000 Rangefinder is an extremely accurate and versatile tool for big game hunting. With an effective range from 8–2,000 yards and a magnification of 6x, this rangefinder gets you on target with precision, speed and consistency. Tru-Target Technology allows you to switch between Distant Target Priority mode and First Target Priority mode depending on conditions. Distant Target Priority mode is useful in wooded or grassy areas where the target may be partly obscured by undergrowth. First Target Priority mode measures the distance of the closest subject when there's an overlapping background. Nikon's ID (Incline/Decline) Technology provides the horizontal distance to the target no matter how steep the terrain. The Nikon Monarch 2000 Rangefinder displays ranges to the nearest .5 yards out to 700 yards, 1 yard between 700 and 1,000 yards, and to the nearest 1.5 yard when distances are over 1000 yards. Includes a carry case and 1 CR2 lithium battery. Nitrogen purged. Waterproof/fog proof. Manufacturer model #: 16661.

FirstFor a first time rangefinder this one is easy to use out of the box. This will be the first time using a rangefinder in the field.

Excellent choiceI have been in the market for a range finder for about a year. I was hunting in Missouri a couple of years ago and wished I had a range finder then. So, I started to look for one. There were so many to choose from I was unsure what to buy. I reached out my cousin who has hunted in Colorado for elk and they were using a very expensive finder. It was not accurate and kept shutting down. I ask what brand was it was, Leupold was the answer. Also one of the hunter had a Vortex. Both were around $700.00. I kept looking. Well I was online looking and found this Nikon Monarch 2000. I compared the features to all the higher $ ones and found this one held its own. So off to Bass Pro. Where I met a gentleman that was also looking for a new range finder. We discussed what we were looking for and as we looked at this Nikon, we both bought it. The Monarch 2000 has been so far, a most excellent buy. Not only did I get $80 below retail, but the clarity and accuracy is impeccable. Very easy to use and compact. I highly recommend this produce. I also have a Nikon scope on my S&M 1500 30.06 which has been on this rifle for over 18yrs and, I’ve dropped my rifle, not on purpose, but the scope is still dead nuts on. So far the range finder has proven to just as reliable. I use it on the disc golf course I just started playing to range the baskets. Again, I highly recommend this product. Happy hunting my brothers
