"TAKE A KID FISHING, YOU'LL BE HAPPY YOU DID"

Johnny Morris Signature

National Go Fishing Day It’s one of our favorite “holidays” of the whole year, the one time when it’s okay to drop everything and go drop a line instead! So, c’mon—let’s go fishing! Let’s get outside and enjoy the fresh air, the water, all the wonders of nature. Let’s forget our cares, and see if we can outsmart that lunker waiting beneath the waves. In other words…let’s go catch some fish and have some fun!

Testimonials

Josh H., Fishing Sales Outfitter from Bass Pro Shops in Round Rock, Texas

My favorite thing about fishing is just being outside. Whether I catch fish or not, at least I was near them, at a beautiful place, away from the grind of life.
My best tip for fishing is to change your retrieve before you change your lure. You could have the perfect lure for the situation but the wrong speed and cadence in which it should be retrieved. Try different speeds and tempos before giving up on a lure completely.

Demetrius W., Fishing Outfitter at Bass Pro Shops in Mesa, Arizona

My favorite part about fishing is being blessed enough to go! My best advice would be fish like every cast is, your last cast.

Jerry W., Service Specialist at Bass Pro Shops in Mesa, Arizona

My favorite part about fishing is getting out of the everyday stress and hustle and bustle and being outdoors. Catching is always good too…
Best fishing advice is to put down your “favorite’ technique and learning something new to expand your skills.
