Sharp and StrongUsed/using these on my archery hunts..One antelope down, blew right thru with no damage to the broadhead. It was a little dull from the dirt/rocks it after the animal, but was intact and with a little sharpening could be used again. These are tough no nonsense blades made for the working class hunter.

I am sold on these broadheadsYour Muzzy 100 grain 3-blade broadhead is one bad little broadhead. I recently went on my first crossbow feral hog hunt and bagged two pigs. The first pig was a through and through heart shot and was so clean a shot the pig casually walked away (I don't think he knew he was hit IMO) and went maybe 10 yards before going down. The bolt was not recovered (lighted nock failure). The second pig was another through and through shot that severed the sternum, piercing the heart and slicing through the lower lobe of the right lung before exiting through the right foreleg bone! This pig ran about 20 yards before expiring. This bolt was recovered and the only “damage” sustained was one blade rolled over and a few nicks in a second blade. After cleaning the bolt and installing a new set of blades the next day, the bolt was placed back in my quiver ready for another hunt. I’m shooting a 160lb draw weight Cabela’s Vindicator (by Barnett) crossbow with 20” Barnett Custom Carbon Headhunter bolts tipped with the 100 grain 3-blade Muzzy broadheads and Nockturnal Predator lighted nocks – all purchased through my local Cabela’s store.

Bad Too The BONE!I have used these broad heads for a very long time, they have never let me down! Very sharp and when tuned on your arrow fly like field point.

Knocks 'em Down-I recently took a doe with this broadhead. It blew through both sides and stuck in the dirt. I cleaned up the blades and it's ready to go for the next one! These broadheads are tough as nails and if you put your shot on the money, you'll fill your freezer for sure. I'm an advocate for less is more, both in price, and in design principle. No fancy deployment of blades, no O-rings, just effective cutting simplicity and true flight, and at the sale price of $30 for 6??? There's no other broadhead for me.

Tough broadheadsI'm sure there are a lot of good broadheads out there, Muzzy is just my favorite. These are tough blades that will hold up under that occasional poor shot. I have bent a few blades that were buried in bone, but that's why they sell replacement blades! They also fly exactly the same as my fieldpoints, that's why I stay with them. You can't beat the combination of great flight and durability in the same head.

Best I've used to dateI have used the 100grain 3 blade muzzy for several years now, and I have nothing negative to say about them. I have easily recovered every animal I hit with these broad heads. They shoot exactly the same as my field points. Great penetration, accuracy, and durability. No broadhead is indestructible, and they will all become dull if not maintained properly. I have at least 2 heads that I have shot through an animal replaced the blades and shot another. Most outstanding price/quality I have found in 25 years of bowhunting.

There's Muzzy and everything elseMuzzy 3-blade - tried and true. These broad heads have been around forever because they work. The chisel point holds strong and reduces deflection even at hard angles into (rib) bones and penetrate deep. I have shot many of deer and pigs with these broad heads and have yet to have an animal make it more than 50 yards. If you do your part, it will exceed your expectations. Hunt with confidence.
These are 6 packs for the complete broadheads and 18 packs for the replacement blades.

what diameter are these?
I'm settled on getting these broadheads, but i want to know what diameter the broadhead is so i know what size arrow to get.

Typically all broad heads come with a 5/16 diameter main body. However you can screw a 5/16 main body broad head onto an 11/32 arrow.

what grain should I use for a 45lb draw wheight recurve bow

Depends on the grain per inch of your shafts and the length of your shaft. A recurve needs to shoot between 10 to 18 grains per pound of draw weight. So for 15 grains per pound equals 675 grains. So subtract your shaft weight (arrow with no broad head) from 675 and that gives you the weight your broadhead needs to be.

i am shooting the diamond razors edge and would it be better to shoot 75 grain or a higher grain with this bow?

Higher is always better. The more an arrow weighs the quieter the bow is, the more penetration you get and the longer your bow will last

Im getting a middleton crossbow that shoots 375 fps. Will 100 grain work well, or should i get a higher grain?

I'd say 100s are the lowest I'd go. With a crossbow that fast why not push a little heavier broad head?

Tuning these
Im new to bow hunting and i just ordered these, and im wondering how hard will these be to tune, will the point of impact with these be alot diffrent than with field tips? Thanks

on my bow set up, field points will shoot about 2" higher at 20 yards and as i go back to 30 yards they area about 3" higher, and at 40 yards about 3.5-4" higher. but once you get them dialed in you cant beat em. I shoot a martin rack attack 29" draw 60lbs. it all depends on your set up. hope this helps
