I Should have bought 5Well if you’ve made it far enough to read the reviews on an ammo box your either extremely board or really interested. Either way here is what I have to say about this one.
I bought 2, I should have bought 5!
I am a reloader and I am also a precision rifle shooter. I have very high standards and have been accused by my other half of being to over critical. I just keep reminding her of my former job in the military.
So for me to give anything a 5 star rating almost never happens.
I have taken mine to the range about 10 times since I bought them. They still look brand new, no stress lines on the lid or in the hinges. If you reload or like to “ ladder” test loads in your rifles but only want to carry one box instead of 5. Then this is the box for you.
(Side note I bought mine for 168gr 308 and there is about 1/8 inch from the tip of the round to the top of the lid on factory gold medal match ammo, so if your loading longer then factory you’ve still got some room)
Oh and if you think 1 or 2 is enough, buy 5 there not expensive! You will not regret it!

Excellent productThese MTM ammo boxes are about the best avaible, the hinge arrangement makes them virtually unbreakable and thus long lasting...Cabelas had what I needed and at the best price I could find from any avaible sources (which will remain "unnamed"!)

Good value for the moneyWorks well with longer case ammo, EXCEPT if you are using long or heavy bullets in magnum cases liike 7mm mag, 26/28 Nosler, etc.. It will not close on those rounds.
