Nephew shot with 10# pull bow and arrows had hard time piercing so it might not be great for smallest of shooters. Out of curiosity I shot it too. At 15 yards my arrow went almost all the way to the fletchings so it'll stop arrows from stronger bows than rating says

Rated 1 out of 5 by SARose from Not the same as they used to be These targets used to be great. The target face is official size and colors. I shot my first one for a year and a half until you could no longer see the gold. My second target was totally different. Construction had changed. For starters, the arrows were EXTREEMLY hard to remove. Easton arrow lube helped some, but not a lot, and the lube application lasted only two or three shots. It takes two hands with a leg propped up against the target and a good strong yank to get arrows out. I doubt that any kid shooting a 20 pound bow could remove the arrows. Before you ask, my arrows are Easton X7 s and XX75s. The tips are flush with the shafts, Common youth arrows with tips slightly larger than the shafts would be EVEN WORSE FOR THE KIDS TO REMOVE. Then the top half of one side soon collapsed, making the top half of the target not thick enough to stop arrows shot from a 26 pound bow from penetrating, and in one case, all the way through and wrecking the feathers. I could not reshape the target. As I said, I really like the official size and colors of the target face, so I figured I just got a bad example and put down 40 dollars to buy a third one. The third one is the same as the second! I’ve had it a week and I am going to try to return it to buy a different target in its place. I saw some target tests on YouTube that showed easy target removal. I will lose that great target face, but the frustration of trying to remove the arrows makes this a DO NOT BUY.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Prohooker from it will work The newer targets are certainly not like the first ones I purchased. They are however usable , with a few modifications they can be made better. I teach archery so our targets are used quite a bit. Just dont let anyone shoot the target with anything over 30 lbs. draw weight. For the money they are a good target.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Tobee from Youth Target Kids under 9 or 10 become frustrated with this target because the fabric covering is too tough for regular arrows to penetrate - they just bounce off. Its a great size and light weight but its no fun if the arrows do not stick.

Rated 1 out of 5 by ArcheryDad from Do not recommend I bought this for my 10 year old son. He hit it about 25 times and lost 4 arrow tips. The burlap is unforgiving, causing the tips to come off when retrieving the arrows. Will be returning.

Can this targat handle a 60 pound bow shot?

Not a chance! You can take the staples out of the bottom, open the bottom of the box and add sheets of high density thin foam to beef it up. Retape the box after adding foam, cut a piece of quarter inch plywood to fit the bottom, refold the outside cover, and staple the cover to the plywood. This holds everything together and adds stability to the target.
