Mike's® Shrimp Salmon Eggs are the company's best selling natural eggs, and continue to shine with each passing season. These are plump, jumbo-sized single eggs, packed in a natural shrimp flavoring that is highly appealing to all salmonids. Great for spring Broke trout!I used these for the first time this year for spring Broke trout on slip bobber rig! They work really well, I used Berkley power eggs in the pink, but these out fish them by three to one! The only thing is they last to long, one bite and that's it!

It was OK.This was recommended to me from someone that was fishing next to me. I fish mostly at the Farmington River so, it's a little tough with salmon eggs unless you find a nice pool.
I have had some sucess with them though. I caught a nice 16 inch Rainbow with them and some others.
For me, I'll try different bait just to see what works best.
Personally, as an ultra lite fishing guy, I prefer a meal worm or a trout worm or nightcrawler. Although on Opening Day, these guys had these salmon eggs that were in sachs and they were catching fish almost every cast. I will have to see if Cabela's has this or talk to someone when I go in and maybe they can get it. I like going to Cabela's, my six year old boy loves it, too.

Mike's Salmon EggsI was told about these by another fisherman. I have had some luck with them but winter fishing is not a good way to try them. I am sure that when the water warms that they will work well.

Classic trout bait!I have been using Mike's salmon eggs for 30 years now and have always caught trout on them. I have tried other brands over the years with little luck. Mike's is # 1 in my mind!

These workThe eggs themselves work well. They have, over the last 10 years, in both Pennsylvania and Maryland, have been the best eggs I've ever used.
the product rating is 5 stars.
the ONLY issue i have is the shipping method. These are glass jars. Imagine if and when, they throw two of these jars into a small box and ship. Package arrives with oil soaked corners. The small plastic bag they put them in, to prevent leakage, doesnt work so well with glass.
but, the product works well. I just move them into another jar, add gulp oil and im happy.

Produces!A fishing buddy of mine had a few jars of these last year, I opened up a can and looked inside. First thing I noticed was the strong smell, second thing I noticed were that these were rather LARGE eggs. I put one on my hook and soon found out that fishing fast water may be difficult, these are tough to stay on a hook for sure. After going through about 3 different eggs in the current, I was hooked into a Steelhead that engulfed that egg.
What I started doing was taking 2-3 eggs and tying them in spawn bags so I didn't lose them as easy. Probably lower hookups but the eggs lasted much longer and still produced.
