The Mercury® 9.9hp EFI Tiller ProKicker Outboard Motor with 20" Shaft features a lightweight, compact design that fits most troll-ready transoms, and its precision tuning lets you lock-in and repeat exact trolling speeds that consistently tempt strikes out of nearby gamefish. Thanks to unrivalled Mercury engineering, this motor's battery-free, electronic fuel injection (EFI) technology starts it up with ease all kinds of outdoor conditions. To keep your battery charged up and ready to perform, this engine comes equipped with a class-leading, 12A alternator. It also features an easy electric start and a manual start in case it's needed. Extra thrust is provided by a 4-blade, high-thrust propeller and an oversized gear case with a lower gear ratio. For boat control, this motor offers forward and reverse shifting in the throttle grip on the tiller, and the standard power tilt delivers quick and easy deployments. Like all Mercury outboard motors, the EFI delivers outstanding power and fuel efficiency. Exclusive centering straps lock this outboard in with rock-solid strength, even when trimmed up.
