The Mepps® Marabou deadly for a variety of gamefish and was designed to cover water missed by other anglers. A wide Colorado blade lifts the Mepps Marabou close to the surface during the retrieve, making this spinner ideal for fishing over weeds, or when an occasional surface break is critical. And the fluffy puff of Marabou pulsates and comes alive underwater.

Rated 4 out of 5 by AlleghenyHighlander from Pencil Thin When Wet Just a note for the uninitiated: the marabou feathers do not stay puffy when wet. The feathers turn into a pencil-thin tail as soon as they hit water and will stay that way until the lure dries. I gave 4 starts because this is a well-made lure with an excellent finish on the blade and very securely tied feathers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by CaptHappy from Excellent I've used Mepps spinners for years. For everything from panfish to Musky. They have always worked very well for what ever species of fish we were after. The product is very well made, and even holds up to Musky, which are the best test on tackle. Spinners, snaps, and wire ties have always held up.

Rated 4 out of 5 by BDR13 from Musky Fishing I have had good luck with these lures and would recommend them. The only problem I have had is that after a lot of use the hooks seem to get tangled while in the air and I loose some cast. Very god lures for Musky.

Rated 5 out of 5 by ChrisinHongKong from Great Lure Location: French River Ontario Lures Used: White and the black Marabou Both colors worked great. This season the white did produce more for me. Soak the lure for 10 seconds in the water before the first cast. Most important to note is that the dye from the colored marabou will bleed into the white ones if they are wet and in close contact for too long. Keep the white separate. Lastly dry them when you head in for the night. Use your fingers to spread the hairs and then the wind on the boat ride home will do the rest.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Supernaut79 from Immediately stolen!!! I bought a couple of these in the 1-1/4 oz. size. One in firetiger and one in silver/black. The firetiger upon it's first cast into the water was struck HARD. That pike took off and wouldn't stop running. He snapped my 65 lb. test PowerPro line when I finally tried to stop him with the drag on my reel. I'm bummed he stole my pricey lure but they're obviously worth the price! I promptly ordered another one in anticipation of a trip for some tiger muskie. I can't argue with the results so Mepp's Musky Marabou spinners will always inhabit my tackle bag. They're built like a tank and can obviously stand up against some mean predators. I hope that pike chokes on my lure, that jerk. My pike fishing day was over since he stripped most of my reel before snapping my line. Thanks, Mepps, for my first pike strike!
