Good Receptacle, ButMy only negative on this receptacle/plug is the fact that the screws for lock-down of the wire tend to strip out pretty easy if you tighten them down so the wires won't work loose. Also you really need to twist the wire strands tight to fit into the lock-down clamp.

Poor DesignI purchased this plug to replace same as old plug would spin when trying to plug in. New plug spins also. Plastic lockdown does is not strong enough to hold it in place. Should have been a slot to hold receptacle from spinning. Poor design.

Connect Pro Trolling Motor Plugs and Receptacles.8-25-08
These plugs and receptacles are perfect for most trolling motors and more. I used them to install my down riggers. A second pair of receptacles were ordered to allow moving the downriggers to another boat. They are holding up well and have not needed maintenance. They are plated to pervent corrosion and the twist lock design prevents unplanned disconnects. I would use this product again.

Great ProductThis trolling motor plug and receptacle were really easy to install, they keep water out, and are durable enough to be bounce around in the boat. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking to replace a plug.

ConnectPro™ Trolling Motor Plug & Receptacleverry good
Does this come with both the male and female components for this plug? It looks as though it does and the female component is described as the receptacle. I need the female piece as a replacement part.

Can I use this for my 12 volt 2-wire motor?
Asked by: E7Bigdaddy
Per the Manufacturer - "This can be used on a 2 wire configuration for 12 or 24 volts. The third prong helps with stability and doesn’t have to be used"
