don't buy the meal wormsI bought 500 meal worms but 2 weeks ago, and when I got them they were so small you couldn't put them on a hook. ... and half were dead....and there wasn't t00 either but I didn't catch that until it was to late... bass pro offered my money back or more worms and since I really needed the worms I took another batch.... I'll let you know how that turns out..... but don't buy your meal worms from here....

live baitYour live bait is excellent in quality but the pricing truly surprises me from Bass Pro Shop. I can purchase in quantities between 25 and 50 for the same price per worm as your price for 500 from any bait store in the ocala area not including shipping..Disappointed because I try to buy in bulk to save money and I put them in a worm bed...Need to work on this guys..

ExcellentI purchased the 500 night crawlers. Received delivery about 4 weeks ago. To date, I have not had a single crawler die on me. They come in different sizes and the smaller ones seem to be growing. Would definitely purchase again.

Good ExperienceI bought the wax worms here for a double reason. Someone found some baby birds and gave them to me so I ordered the wax worms to feed them with but also to use the extra for some ultralight panfishing fun.
The price is good for wax worms, about the same for worms in my area. The shipment arrived on time and with the wax worms alive an well and packaged beautifully! They were in 2 plastic containers placed with paper packaging in a cardboard box that was inside a styrofoam cooler that had a cold gel pack on it which was further placed in a big cardboard box! Its been a month and I'm still using them bit by bit, I keep them in the fridge and they're still alive. Just make sure you leave them in the sun before using so they warm up and start squirming around, drives the fish nuts!
Caught everything from bluegill/sunfish to baby bass, crappie and even chain pickerel. Nothings gets you fish easier then live bait, I'll be ordering some worms soon from BPS for those slow days. Definitely a good experience.

if you want fishThis is one easy way to get fish like perch and other panfish. just cut a small peice of a nightcrawler and set the worm near the sharp end and make an easy cast at the fish and watch them go nuts on the bait. I caught 25 perch in 1 hour.
How quick is delivery of worms to Texas 77062. Can they be sent overnight?

What is the difference between a wax worm and a meal worm
Asked by: Panfishman95
Mealworms, 'mealies' are the larger larvae of the darkling beetle, are usually brownish in colour, and about 3/4 to one inch in length.
Wax worms, 'waxies' in several ways are intermediate between the two; the larvae of the wax moth or bee moth, they are creamy white in colour and from 3/8 to 3/4 inches long, and are small, soft worms that resemble grubs.

What is the best for channel & blue catfish, bass, trout, and crappie/sunfish?
Asked by: Luremaster2000
Honestly night crawlers are probably your best bet. Cats, bass, and panfish love'em. don't know about trout but i don't see why not.

Are the "Euro Red Worms" actually "European Nightcrawlers" or "Red Worms"?
Hello - I'm just trying to establish the type of worm referred to as "Euro Red Worms".
Thanks.
Asked by: walterf22
Red worms are more formally known as eisenia fetida and are the most popular composting worm in the United States. These worms have a few other aliases including brandling worms, tiger worms or red wigglers,Euro Red Worms. No matter what they are called they are definitely the best worm for composting and fish love them !
