Keep an eye on the local weather with the help of the La Crosse® Technology Wireless Color Forecast Station. It measures the indoor temperature and humidity; daily indoor temperature and humidity; relative barometric pressure (in either inches of mercury or Hecto Pascal); 24-hour pressure history; outdoor temperature and humidity; heat index; dew point; daily outdoor high and low temperatures and humidity; outdoor temperature and humidity trends; and the moon phase. It also clues you in to the forecast at a glance with sunny, partly sunny, clouds, rain, thunderstorm, and snow icons. You can even set independent alerts for indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity. The calendar displays the month, date, and atomic time with manual setting. When the display is connected to AC power, you can choose from 3 levels of backlighting for low-light viewing. When the display is battery-operated, you can turn on the backlight with the press of a button, and it lights up the display for 10 seconds. Low-battery icons for both the display and the sensor. Display runs on the 5V, 500mAh AC adapter (included) or 3 AA batteries (not included). Sensor runs on 2 AA batteries (not included).
