Korkers WhiteHorse Wading Boots for Men - Felt/Kling-On
Be ready for any fishing location and situation with the WhiteHorse Wading Boots from Korkers®. Combining traditional styling with innovative outsole technology, the WhiteHorse features Korkers' OmniTrax® interchangeable outsole system. This advanced outsole system allows anglers to switch between different outsoles to match the fishing location and situation. Hydrophobic materials throughout the boots' recessed, triple-stitched synthetic uppers and the rest of the boot speed drying to resist the spread of invasive species between waterways. Uppers also feature minimal stitched seams for fewer anchor points for invasive organisms and fewer potential failure points. An integrated drainage system in the boots' EVA midsoles features large ports and internal channels to drain water from the boot quickly, keeping the boots' weight down. Oversized, molded rubber toe cap adds extra durability and protection. Low profile M2 Boa® speed lacing system delivers a tight and comfortable fit with more power. Traditional Felt outsole and Kling-On® Sticky Rubber outsole included. Average weight: 3 lbs. 2 oz. Height: 8''. Imported. Manufacturer style #: FB4210.

Great boots, but lack ankle supportThese boots are really light, really comfortable and really easy to put on and take off. They feel just like a pair of good hiking boots. The interchangeable soles are the real deal as well. You can put them on in your bedroom, wear them to the water and swap soles to whatever you need them to be quite easily. On the BOA, they take a little getting used to. It takes a bit of wiggling your foot and a couple of tries to get the BOA laces tight enough.
As long as you aren't wading a fast moving river with nothing but large slippery rocks on the bottom, these ARE the boots to get IMHO. They are THAT comfortable!
If you are wading THAT river (really hard to wade), these boots don't have any real ankle support. You will have problems with your foot rolling off rocks. It is a very uncomfortable feeling not having a stable platform underneath you. In this situation, unless you are young and in good shape, I do not recommend them.

BewareI thought korkers would get it but I must admit I am disappointed that there is no gravel guard loop hook on the boot. The rest of the features are great.

Fantastic bootsThis is my second pair. I fish a lot of rocky streams in PA and MD. I wear the extremes picked and they are really good on the smaller rocks but will slip on the big boulders. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

exactly what i expectedafter reading other reviews i decided to buy these boots. i went out the opening day with the rubber soles on, and was slipping on the mossy rocks. the next day i switched to the felt soles and problem fixed. the BOA system is awesome, one of the main reasons i got the boots. it seems to me that it tightens the top tighter then the toe of the shoe, so after i walk to the fishing spot i just re tighten them, and presto perfect. the boots do dry very quick compared to other boots. my only complaint and the reason for the 4 starts is that it doesnt come with a D loop to hook my waders to. they have them on the metalheads so why not the whiethorses
