The KleenBore® Lead Away® Gun Cleaning Cloth is chemically treated to remove tough lead and carbon build up from firearms. The Lead Away cloth removes burn rings from revolver cylinders, and works great on stainless steel firearms and muzzleloaders. (Excessive rubbing may remove bluing.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by Billy Jack from Finally Tried it and Loved it. Heard friends swear about using these patches to get lead out of barrels, especially older barrels that were badly leaded. Finally tried it and they were right. It made an old Marlin 1893 barrel that was very dark, and had been cleaned wellI thought for the last 2 years, almost shine like a new one. Now I can shoot cast lead in it and it is not such a pain to clean. Just watch the shards of lead come out and quit when there is no lead on the patch. The patch will continue to come out dark, but it has already done its job.

Rated 5 out of 5 by billy from Bore/Chamber Cleaning I've used this for years and have not seen it's equal for the intended purpose. Wrapping a small patch of it around a bronze bore brush works wonders in a handgun bore and chambers. (Using a bronze brush slightly worn works best, as the added patch increases diameter of the brush). Using it to remove lead from a stainless handgun cylinder face and from forcing cone area is also easy and effective.

I used it this morning with low expectations but to my delight this product cleaned a stainless Ruger GP100 bore to a level not seen in years. I have used many products on it, but this one did it with no effort at all. I will keep plenty of this Lead Away in my kit and recommend it to all my shooting friends, too. Thanx again. will hoppes no9 solvent remove lead from barrel?or whats better?

Thank you for choosing Bass Pro Shops. Per the manufacturer, it removes powder, lead, metal fouling and rust.
