The Mariner Rec 5 from Kidde comes equipped with a 100-psi operating pressure that propels the 2 lbs. of dry fire-extinguishing agent out to 8' to 12' distances. It's effective discharge time lasts for 8 to 10 seconds. The seamless, aluminum cylinder features an easy-to-read pressure gauge that – with a glance – lets you know that it's charged and ready to go. The design also involves an easy-pulling safety pin and a rust- and impact-resistant stainless steel handle/lever.
